Day 1:  Lao cai – Sapa – Lao chai – Tavan ( Overnight at the village )
Day 2 : TaVan Village – BanHo Village ( Overnight at the village )
Day 3 : BanHo – Thanh Phu – Sin Chai B ( Overnight at the village )
Day 4: Sin Chai B – Nam Ket – Ben Den – Lao Cai ( Overnight at the train )

Day 1 : Laocai – Sapa – YLinhHo – Laochai – Tavan (L/D)

Picked up at Laocai Railway station early in the morning by bus. Arrive at Sapa round 8:00 AM. Breakfast and relax.. Walk around Sapa and then start from Sapa at 10:00 AM to visit a village of the Black H’mong (YLinhHo village). Go though hillsides along MuongHoa river. Cross the river by a suspension bridge to reach LaoChai village. Take the paths across the paddy fields to get to the 3rd village of the Dzay minority (TaVan) and Stay the night at a Dzay family in this village. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.

( 4 hours trekking, 12 km, 3 villages )

Day 2 : TaVan – Ban Ho (B/L/D)

Breakfast with the local family and then get to a village located at the foot of HoangLienSon range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to SuPan village for 2 minorities – The H’mong and the Red Dzao. . Get off the road to go down hill to BanHo village. Overnight at Ban Ho with a Tay family who have houses on stilts. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.

(7 hours trekking, 18 km, 3 villages )

Day 3: Ban Ho – Thanh Phu – Sin Chai B (B/L/D)

Today you will trek through Ban Ho valley. After morning coffee and delicious breakfast you will head out on the trail. You will cross several suspension bridges before you arrive in Thanh Phu village of Tay minority. On the way you will be able to visit local schools. Before lunch you trek uphill toward Thanh Phu. Here you stop for lunch in a local house.

After lunchtime, you head to Sin Chai B village of Red Dao minority where the night will be spent in bamboo huts. You will be attracted by the wonderful hospitable atmosphere of the Red Dao. Picnic lunch on the way; dinner and overnight at the family.

Approx: Grade 2 of 5/ 5 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.

Day 4: Sin Chai B – Nam Ket – Ben Den – Lao Cai (B/L)

After a good sleep in bamboo hut, you wake up for an early breakfast and repack your luggage for the long trek heading toward Lao Cai.

Once you leave Sin Chai B, the trip takes you into a fabulously mountainous area, the most remote part of Sapa. En route you meet children’ curious eyes as you are very first tourists passing by. Red Dao ethnic minority inhabits the entire area. You will enjoy the fresh of bamboo forest and jungle until you make a stop at Nam Ket for lunch.

After lunch, your trek will be mostly downhill. After about half an hour, you will have a opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful view of days over a green valley lying along the Red River. You eventually arrive in Ta Thang village of Tay minority. Here you will be transferred by car to Lao Cai. You will be able to have shower and dinner before you catch the night train back to Ha Noi.

Approx: Grade 3 of 5/ 7.5 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.
