Day 1 (Saturday): Arrival to LaoCai – CanCau market – Bac Ha town (L,D)
Day 2 (Sunday) : Visit to BacHa market – Sapa (B,L)

Day 1 (Saturday): Arrival to LaoCai – CanCau market – Bac Ha town (L,D)
On Saturday morning you will be picked up at LaoCai Railway Station and start a trip to CanCau market.
It takes more than 2 hours to get to the market that situated in a valley surrounded by mountains, 7 km from Chinese border. The market represents the typical cultural features of the ethnic minority groups in remote mountainous areas in north-west Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing ethnic people well-dresses in colorful costumes and their socializing with each other during the market day. They attend the market not only to buy and to sell things, but also come with a hope of finding “the other halves of their lives”. After enjoying the market we will drive to BacHa town. On the way we will visit a village of Flower H’mong ethnic people and then check-in in hotel in BacHa. You will have a free evening to explore the town.
Day 2 (Sunday) : Visit to BacHa market – Sapa (B,L)
After breakfast we will walk to BacHa market. This is the largest market in the region, a place where many hill tribal people gather to meet each other, to buy and sell, to eat and drink. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy here homemade handicrafts and clothes or to enjoy unique local food or special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples and peaches. After the market we will visit one village of Flower H’mong people and an old building called the H’mong King’s house built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Then we’ll return to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, we will spend some time to visit another village (Ban Pho village). Then we have to say good bye to BacHa and drive to Sapa. On the way back, we will stop in Lao Cai to see Chinese border and Chinese town on the other side of the river. We will reach Sapa late in the afternoon and check in sapa l hotel.
Day 3 : Sapa discovery – Lao Chai – Tavan (4 hours trekking, 12 km, 2 villages) – Lao Cai Railway Station (B,L)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for an unforgettable trek that will take us along the beautiful Muong Hoa valley, through paddy rice terraces, buffalo paths, local small trails and hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan. Each village is inhibited by different ethnic minority group. Lao Chai is home to Black H’mong hill-tribal people, in Tavan live Dzay ethnic group. This is a spectacular walk through stunning scenery of the surrounding mountains, rice fields and small scattered villages, inhabited by friendly hill tribe people that will always warmly welcome you. At the end of the trip, we will return to Sapa by car. You will have few hours to enjoy Sapa, before going to Lao Cai Railway Station and catching the night train to Hanoi.
